Problem:

JCL is VSE format, need to convert to MVS format for Revolve to parse

Resolution:

Unzip vseconvert.zip(attached to this KB)  into the directory where the *.vse files will be.

To run this utility:

unzip vseconv.zip and put the dlls and exe in the folder where the VSE JCL exists

open cmd prompt

execute the exe file as follows:

vmconva.exe filename.vse filename.jcl

**this must be repeated for EACH filename.vse that exists.

A response comes back that states convert complete.

There will be a new folder in the source directory named JCL, this folder will be the converted VSE file in MVS JCL format.
