Problem:

Customer has variables that are designated as the following:

Unresolved system variables (2)

  . Variable TRAN-PROG(LC50I001.CBL) can't be resolved

  . Variable WS-TEMP-QUEUE(LC50I022.CBL) can't be resolved

these need to be resolved to show the whole picture within the project

Resolution:

This variable could also be a ONE time thing - where the admin would have to fix it ONE time.  To do that, if the admin knows what load module should be associated with the variable, then:

highlight the variable in the complete screen

press the "var="ab"" button

press MATCH with * in the entry window

highlight the variable name that comes up that the admin want to associate with a load module/value

press EDIT

in the "Variable Value" entry - it should read "No value found" remove that and put in the program (lc50i022.cbl) and press OK

press DONE

the entry no longer is in the complete screen

the admin can now review this "fix" by looking in the REPORT window - the white paper icon - showing the activity that has been done.

If there are multiple programs associated with this variable then the admin would be better off using the attached zip file that includes a sample dyncalls.dat, addcalls.rqc and addcalls.doc.  the Document will explain how this works and what the admin needs to have in the dyncalls.dat file.
