what does delete do in Complete to ERROR programs?

Problem:

components are in ERROR status - to fix this is to delete the component, but not sure what the ramifications are regarding this.

Resolution:

Press the fix button

Press DELETE

  - this will delete the component and subsequent imports that aren't being used by any other copmonent.
