Problem:
Adding CTL files to a Mainframe Express (MFE) project can be done several ways. What is the best method for defining them to MFE?
Resolution:
Although CTL (Control Cards) files can be added to a MFE project as source, the best method to use when adding them to a MFE project is to define a PDS under the MFE Catalog and then use the Add Members function to add them as PDS members. If the PDS is defined as dynamic, then the programmer does not have to worry about adding or deleting them when they are updated.
