What is the Dispatch Queue in the JES Spool?

The issue:

I submitted a job and it went into the Spool "Input" queue.

I added the job class to the'initiators'..and now the job is sitting in JES dispatch..

Why is this?

The resolution:

If the initiator for a job's class has not been started, that job will be in the Dispatch Queue until the

initiator is started. Once done, the job will then be routed to the appropriate queue, such as the Output

or Active Queue.
