Problem:
We are compiling a set of loadlibs on our network server. We want to know about the size requirements for that server. If we have many programmers (150-200) sharing these common modules, when they are run will the executable (INT or GNT) be run on the server or will a copy be run in the client workstation?
Resolution:
Everything will be executed on the client machine with its own CPU, memory storage, etc. Nothing is done on the server except for I/O operations that will be done by the client machines on the server. So the server should have a large disk space available and for the client machines, speed and memory will add to the overall performance.
