Where can the system definition be found for an IMS system?
Resolution
The IMS definition file should be extracted from a mainframe IMS system by running a Stage1 Extract.
Guidance can be obtained from your site system programmer.
Enterprise Analyzer expects the extracted details to be in a file named as <any name>.IMS
Names of files being registered into Enterprise Analyzer can be free format and can have any extension name. Provided that the extension name is defined to EA, the file will be registered, and can be verified.
