Check this to allow the use of the CICS Execution Diagnostic Facility, which enables debugging at the CICS command level.

If you enable the CEDF checkbox does that help to answer your question?

I am trying to debug a CICS program from Linux command line ( i dont have Linux GUI) using cobesdebug program but i get the attached error

I verified that i am suing the microfocus id and my region has dynamic debugging enabled.

What does this error 12 means?

Although my regon as dynamic debugging enabled I troed to enable CEDF for my program ACN001 with CPMT CEDF trasnacation but i get an unexpected response *0016/008 errro

I attached the screen.

Do you know where I can get the meaning of these errors_

Hi,
Is your region configured to use the dfhdrdat that ships with the product install? If so that can cause a write/permissions error, try to move the file to a location where processes have full permissions, then check if the issue persists.

The error text includes "Error communicating" which is a clue to show that there is a communications issue. I recommend you to check if any firewall/antivirus is blocking traffic, you should ensure that connections between the region's process / cobdebugremote can be made.
