Problem:

After processing data within the repository (workspace) and producing a number of Clipper Query Results Lists, the data within the list has been removed or deleted.

What might cause this?

Resolution:

The main reasons for this behaviour include..

- Adding a new version of a source file, copybook, etc, to the project/workspace.

- Editing an existing source file, copybook, etc, to the project/workspace.

- Manually "invalidating" source files

When a new version of a file, copybook, etc is added to the project/workspace, or an existing source file, copybook, etc is amended/edited, any dependant or related source will be invalidated, making it unverified.

As any future verification, after adding/editing the source file or the invalidation of a source file, can result in changes the repository, it is assumed that any generated Clipper Query Results Lists will also become invalid.

So as part of ANY invalidation process, the product automatically deletes/removes any related Clipper Query Results Lists.
