Problem:
Why do PDS members not display correctly in the Data File Editor (mfdatatools2) ?
Solution:
When a PDS member is selected for edit, the contents of the member are not displayed correctly.
This is caused by an invalid LRECL definition of the partitioned dataset.
To workaround this issue, change the LRECL of the partitioned dataset to any positive value.
For PDS members which are control cards for use with JCL, change the LRECL of the partitioned dataset to 00080 and then the contents of the PDS will be displayed correctly in the Data File Editor (mfdatatools2) .
