Problem:

In the control panel, the icon for the Micro Focus XDB Server MFE 3.1 service is not showing. It is using "Blank Window" instead.  The same "Blank Window" also shows on the desktop shortcut for the service.  The developer wants to have the icon showing "CPU/Server with XDB shown vertically to the right" picture.

Where is this icon located so I change his desktop icon?  How do I change the Control Panel settings to use the same icon?

Resolution:

  Server is there as a service and it is working so asked customer to add xcplmfe31.cpl to the

%WINDIR%\\SYSTEM32 directory.  

Per customer this worked like a charm.
