Problem:

While executing the XDB BIND process, the Error Message may be issued:

L104:Illegal symbol SCHEMA. Valid symbols are CURRENT DATE, TIME, TIMESTAMP, ...

In the Bind Package windows the Status field is showing the message:

    SET :H = CURRENT SCHEMA

Software used is MFE 3.0 ALL09M30 and DB2 version 7

Resolution:

This statement is not supported by an IBM DB2 V7 location. It should not should be applied with DB2 V7. Until a fix is available, the workaround is to use a seven character package name.
