I am new to RUMBA and will have many questions I'm sure as I continue learning how to use RUMBA. How do I set keyboard mappings. Basically I want to be able to use the Backspace key to delete, but it's not working.

options / Keyboard
look at the Files tab to ensure correct keyboard selected,
use the mappings tab to see and change any mappings

Hi,
You can access the keyboard mapping by clicking Options/Keyboard
Then select "Backspace" on the list, click on "New" button and then click on the "Delete" key on the graphical keyboard. Finally click on Accept.
Be aware that "Delete" is mapped by default to "Delete". This mapping will be deleted.
Clicking "Apply", you will be prompted to save the new keyboard mapping.

In Terminal settings> Key Assignments, make sure the 'send backspace as' option is set to 'delete'
