BlueZone bzvt.exe high CPU

All,

We are an IT support company working with an automotive group that uses CDK Global.  When users of this platform perform certain tasks which launch bzvt.exe, the CPU utilization jumps significantly - often to 100%.  In other instances, the CPU remains normal until the tab that launched bzvt.exe is closed, at which point the bzvt.exe process jumps, often to 100%.

Any thoughts?

We fixed some similar high CPU issues, could you please to provide the version of bzvt.exe you are using?

Thank you for the quick reply.  Properties > Details on the bzvt.exe file shows product version 6.2.3 and file version 6.2.3.2513.

Hi Rick,

Version 6.2.3 is very old, we suggest you to upgrade to 10.1.4, which includes a fix for a high CPU issue, you can install v10.1.4 in your environment to see if the issue still exists.

Inside the Community Portal, I do not see a download link for anything other than:

Can you point me to where I can download 10.1.4 as directed?

Seems your account does not have a license for BlueZone, that's why you cannot see the download links for BlueZone. If you want to a trial version, you can go to https://www.rocketsoftware.com/products/rocket-terminal-emulator and ask an expert to help.

Hi Rick,

Is the automotive group you are working with using the 'CDK Drive' solution from CDK Global? If that is the case then BlueZone (bzvt.exe) is part of an integrated solution. My recommendation would be to reach out to CDK Global for support on this issue.
