It is possible to remove the screen designer feature in Rumba. Please execute the following steps in order to remove/disable screen designer form Rumba menu:

Close all active Rumba sessions.

Navigate to %userprofile%\\appdata\\local\\ Micro Focus\\Rumba

Open Rumba.Config in notepad and look for the following tag and change its default value to False as shown in the following example:

<IsScreenDesignerEnabled Type="Boolean">False</IsScreenDesignerEnabled>

Save the file. Now open Rumba session and the screen designer option will be disabled/greyed out for the user.

Remove the screen designer from the Start Menu:

Navigate t the following location: (<c:\\Users\\All Users\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Start Menu\\Programs\\Micro Focus Rumba\\Rumba Tools\\Micro Focus Rumba 9.4 and delete  Screen Designer.lnk.
