Micro Focus may require you to obtain crash dump for any Rumba crashes. 64 bit Windows ships with two versions of the task manager. The 64 bit manager will create 64 bit dumps - even for 32 bit processes. Rumba essentially is a 32-bit process on a 64-bit machine, so it is important to capture the dump with a tool that allows you to create 32-bit dumps. 32 bit task manager will allow you to get a proper 32 bit Rumba crash dump. Please execute the following steps to capture 32 bit crash dump file:
- Launch the file explorer and navigate to the following location: C:\\Windows\\SysWOW64
- Locate taskmgr.exe file, right click and select "Run as administrator"
- This will launch a 32 bit Task Manager window. Click on the "processes" tab
- Scroll down and select "Rumbapage.exe" process.
- Right click and select the option "Create Dump File".
- Repeat the above steps for the following process also: WDDspPag.exe
