Problem:

Customer is unable to use Rumba 9.2 because the Connect/Configure buttons are missing. When customer tries to close Rumba, the application crashes and this error is displayed:

Micro Focus Rumba desktop has stopped working

Solution:

1. Close all Rumba sessions. Launch a command prompt with administrative privileges. On a 64 bit computer you will need to launch the 32 bit command prompt from %winddir%\\Syswow64.

2. Type regsvr32 "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Internet Explorer\\ieproxy.dll" and press Enter. You should see a message stating “DllRegisterServer in ieproxy.dll succeeded”. This will indicate that the dll has been registered successfully.
