Hi Su Jerry,

Could you please explain a bit more on what you mean by MAP with DBCS?

Rumba+ Desktop version 9.5 was the last release that included a package which supports Japanese DBCS, however it is no longer officially supported.

My environment is as follows:
windows 10 and Enterprise Developer 8.0

Use the Rumba+ Desktop v10.1(provide by ED 8.0) to connect to server and  run the CICS to display  BMS map.

I want to display the Chinese character on the screen, so how to configure the Rumba+ can do that?

We do not support a DBCS version of Rumba+ Desktop.

With that said, you can try setting the Windows locale to Simplified Chinese and in the Rumba+ Desktop Mainframe Display configuration, under Connection\\TN3270, choose Host Characer Set / Code Page: English (United States Alternate 3) 37.

If you're still not able to see the characters, please open a case with Technical Support. Information on how to open a case is located here:

what brand of TN3270 do you recommend to connect the ED server to display Traditional Chinese?

Hi Jerry,

My apologies for the delay in response, I am checking with the Enterprise Developer team to see what they recommend for Traditional Chinese emulation.
