Problem:

In Web-to-Host is it possible to start displaying the Device Name from the 3rd character onward.:

For Example: hostname is:

ABC0000012D

Can it be displayed as:

C0000012D

Resolution:

This is only possible if the length of the Device Name is known.

For example:

aabbccddeeffgg is 14 characters long.

Typing: [userid:-10] gives you ccddeeffgg

Note the ‘-‘ minus sign is required to display the characters counting from ‘back to front’.

There is no way to ‘start’ from the 3rd character, the length of device name must be known and then use -10  (or whichever number is appropriate).
