The following error are encountered when launching a Pro Client session on a Windows  computer:

• Error 1402: Could not open key [key name].
• Error 1406: Could not write value Folders to key [key name]. 

These error messages are encountered if your existing Web-to-Host pro client installation has been corrupted. The solution is to remove the existing version of pro client and then reinstall it. Please note you must have administrator privileges to complete these steps:

• • On Windows 7 computers, click Start, then Control Panel, then click on Programs And Features.
  • On Windows XP computers, click Start, then  Control Panel, and double-click Add Or Remove Programs.

1. Select Micro Focus OnWeb Web-to-Host Pro Client and then click the option to remove or uninstall the program.
2. Restart your computer and reinstall Web-to-Host Pro Client.
