Office 2007 doesn’t provide the option to save the Excel sheet in Excel 4 format.
Problem:
The customer cannot use the RUMBA AS/400 File Transfer utility to upload Excel files created with Office 2007.
Resolution:
The RUMBA AS/400 file transfer utility can be used to upload data in an Excel sheet to an AS/400 host. Currently the RUMBA file transfer utility can only upload Excel files that are saved in Excel 4 format, but this option is not available in Office 2007. The workaround is to save the Excel 2007 sheet in comma separated value (csv) format and then upload the .csv file to an AS/400 host.
