Hi all I would like to know how you can run from the host on RUMBA:

- A script

- A macro

I would also like to know if there is a manual that contains the language that can be used to make scripts.

Thanks in advance

Hi Juanto,

I assume your question is related to any kind of unix host (unix, linux Aix…)

RUMBA Unix doesn’t support the requested functionality. As I understand your idea is to launch scripts or Windows Application from a unix based host.

For example to start Internet Explorer initiated by the host application.

If you want to kick off a PC program from an IBM AS/400 then it works with RUMBA.

The STRPCCMD command is supported in RUMBA.

Hi,

apologize for the delay in response.

My host has the AIX operating system and therefore can not use STRPCCMD.

Thank you very much for the reply.
