Thought I'd post it here in case anyone else stumbles upon this append.

My original query was about automating the download of files from the mainframe using Rocket's Secure FTP. That didn't fly because work has closed off FTP'ing other than through Rocket for security reasons. Instead, simply create a transfer list and use that.

After starting Rocket FTP, select Transfer, Transfer List and Record. This will indicate where the default .BTL files (transfer list files) are stored.

Now simply create a .BTL file using Notepad++ in that default directory, and for each file you want to transfer, create one line similar to this (where the first quotes indicate that your userid will be prefixed to the mainframe filename automatically).

RETR "PFTO010.PRIV0.SEBTRACE" C:\\Temp\\PFTO010.PRIV0.SEBTRACE

To run this script, select Transfer, Transfer List and Play.  Select the .BTL file you created, and you're away.

Neat and very simple. Thanks to the designer.
