Trying to use Pega Automation with Reflection connecting to OpenVMS with vt500 emulation. Pega is requesting hllapi short name. It appears to me that hllapi is only available for 3270 and not for vt sessions. Is that accurate?

That's right, HLLAPI is an IBM thing. Reflection supports HLLAPI for 3270 and 5250 terminal types. HLLAPI is not the best choice for programming with Reflection these days...it will always be supported, but it is just not very convenient to for programming with, compared to more modern interfaces. For automating interactions with Reflection, consider using Reflection's .Net interfaces, or COM automation (i.e. Visual Basic for Applications, VBScript, etc.).

I'm not really familiar with the Pega product - it was hard to find detailed information at their website. Rather than having Pega automation directly automate terminal interactions, perhaps you (or they) could write a script for any needed terminal interaction using Reflection VBA, then have Pega invoke that when it needs to, for whatever orchestrated automation it needs to achieve.
