Disclaimer: I'm new to using Rumba to access IBM Mainframe.
I have currently set up a library for personal use and I have some code that I want to store in a member of this library, how can I copy/paste from a .txt file on my desktop into this program??? As of right now I can successfully copy/paste one line at a time from documents outside of Rumba.

#RumbaHi Kirsten258,
here is some sample Rumba Script code to demo how to read a txt file one line at a time.
Sub Main
Dim I as Integer, FName as String, myLine as String
FName = "C:\\Temp\\Tom.txt"
Open FName For Input As #1
Do while not EOF(1)
Line Input #1, myLine
'***** Add EMWriteScreen ScreenText, Row, Column statement here to put the text where your want it
'***** on the display terminal
'***** Add an ENSendKey Key statement here if you need to page down "<PF8>" or send "<Enter>" etc.
'***** if your row is on a certain line on the screen or whatever.
Msgbox myLine
Loop
Close #1
End Sub
You will need to add code to the Do While ... loop to put the data on your host screen at the relevant Row and Column, and to send any aid key to the host to save your new file to add lines, to page down etc.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Tom
