When a customer tries to access a mapped share drive, ViewNow Interdrive gives the above error message.
Problem:
The issue arises when ViewNow is installed in a silent mode from the command line. The license key is ignored by the installer and View Now is installed as a 30 day evaluation copy.
Resolution:
This can be resolved by entering the license key manually:
- Go to Add/Remove Programs and search for ViewNow in the list.
- Select ViewNow Interdrive client 7.2 and click the Change button. This will bring up the setup window.
- Click Add or Remove. This will bring up the license key window.
- Enter your license key. You can click on the Validate button to check the license is valid.
- Click Next and follow the prompts, restarting the computer when prompted to do so.
You should now be able to browse the NFS folders without receiving the error message.
