Hi y'all

Yeah I know we're on a very old version here, v7.5.1, on Win 7, probably get 9.2 installed soon.

In the meantime, when the user right-clicks the toolbar, the drop down list contain lots and lots (30-40) powerpad entries, and at the bottom the Edit Macro and Toolbars options.

1. What the hell are all those powerpad entries and how do I get rid of them?

Sometimes, but not everytime, after editing a macro, when clicking "save" the macro content disappears and on reloading it is empty (although a decent size, maybe 16K, compared to an empty macro of 4K) and using notepad you can see there is content in there, but the macro editor shows it as empty.

2. What has the macro editor done to my macro, it seems to be corrupt.

Thanks for listening...

Hi,
You don't need to worry to much about the powerpad because the feature is outdated. In RUMBA 8.x and 9.x the powerpad functionality can be reproduced with the enhanced toolbar.

1)
The Power Pad is a custom toolbar you create for use during a RUMBA display session to  perform complex tasks such as sending text characters or function key commands.Use the Clear Power Pad option to clear an attached/selected Power Pad file and remove it from the session. Note that this option is unavailable if the Power Pad toolbar is showing. Use Show Power Pad to hide the toolbar before you begin.

2)
It sounds like a known issue solved in v7.5.2 or later.

cheers

1. Maybe you didn't understand, when I right-click on the toolbar, the drop down menu contain anywhere between 1 and 30 entries named "powerpad" (different users different results) click on any of them and you get an empty powerpad. I got rid by creating a new WDA file and starting from scratch....

2. I have installed 9.2 and have other issues, epcified eleswhere

thanks
