Problem:

How can I enable additional tracing in OnWeb Object Builder?

Resolution:

When performing advanced project troubleshooting, it may at times be necessary to enable additional tracing in OnWeb Object Builder.  To do so press the right Control, Alt and the ‘?’ key.  You will notice that you now have an additional menu item next to the Help menu called “Support”.   Select this menu, and enable both Internal Trace and Trace Server requests.  You should see an indication in the Output window that Internal tracing has been enabled.

Additionally click the menu item File, choose Settings, and then expand Navigator Properties.  Choose Debugging, and change the Trace Level to 511 (from 512).  Indicate a file name, and switch Tracing to True.  After completing these steps, make your connection/navigation attempt.  The trace file will be created under C:\\Program Files\\NetManage\\OnWeb Tools\\OnWeb Object Builder.  After obtaining the trace data, disable tracing by returning to the Debugging section of the Settings dialog and setting Tracing to False.  You will also need to uncheck Internal Trace and Trace Server Request from the Support menu.  You can hide the Support menu by pressing the right Control, Alt and the ‘?’ key again.
