Always hoping to find ways in which Rumba beats Client Access, here's another failing...it seems strange that Rumba supports Edit, Append, Paste but no Paste Next...

Nor can I find such a function that I can map to a key...

Have I missed something?

Adrian,

Are you looking for PASTE NEXT support in MACRO, SCRIPT or DESKTOP Menu. I see nothing in MACRO that supports even APPEND, only COPY and PASTE. In SCRIPT there is EMSearch, EMReadScreen and EMSendKey  - cobble them into a DO or two with some IF/THENs, UGH!    In neither case is there any type of SELECT. CUT TO or PASTE  FROM the system CLIPBOARD. Indeed AFAICT the CLIPBOARD is conspicuous by its absence. Now from the DESKTOP menu, you do have, under the Edit item, Cut, Copy, Paste, and Append - all to/from the CLIPBOARD. Moving down to Paste Area Setup under Edit, you should be able to get the PASTE NEXT to keep on trucking as long as the CUT/APPENDed data holds out.

I hope I've just missed the items mentioned above and some kind soul will point them out. They sure are nice to have around in a scripting/macro language.
