Hi,

I often have four or more sessions open to multiple environments. When the windows are minimized in the tool bar they all start with "Reflection Workspace..." and after that I have a unique identifier for each window to indicate the environment. In previous versions of the product there was an option to change the Window title so I could see 1,2,3,4, etc and know what session/environment to maximize.

We're using Micro Focus Reflection Desktop for UNIX and OpenVMS Version: 17.0.434.0

Searching under Host Connection for "title" returns

Settings > Documents >3-Dev.rdox >Terminal configuration > Display: Set Up Display Settings "Window Title"

But when I click and go to "Set Up Display Settings" there isn't a "Window Title" option.

Does anyone know if this functionality was discontinued or have suggestions on how to easily manage multiple environments at once?

Thank you!

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

The Display > Window Title is only supported in Classic mode. Here are alternatives to what you are seeking with v17:

1) Switch from Ribbon mode to Classic mode (under Configure User Interface). This requires a restart of Reflection Workspace.
2) Run all of your emulation sessions within a single instance of Reflection Workspace, renaming the tab for each session.
3) Rename the tabs but continue to use a multiple instances of Reflection Workspace, hovering over the taskbar name in order to see the full tab name. There is no way to remove 'Reflection Workspace' from the beginning of the taskbar name.

To edit the tab name:
- Start your emulation session; however, there is no need to connect to your host.
- Right-click the tab, and select Tab Properties.
- Enter the name you wish in the Name field and click OK.

Thanks,

Andrew
