I got this answer from someone on IBM-Main
- from the Tools menu, select "Mouse Mapper"
- In the square field (top left) do the mouse action you want to configure, e.g. double click
- From the "Select Action" pull down, select "Other Action"
- on the far left, select "Action Sequence"
- Click "Add" on the right, then select "Move Cursor" from the list of actions
- Click "Add" once more, then select "Send Key", and select "Enter" from the "Action Parameter" list on the right.
- the "Sequence of Actions" field at the top should now show two lines: "Move Cursor" and "Send Key" with "Enter".
- Click OK twice.*

With this, double left click (what I chose) selects Point-and-shoot, as well as Menu items
