Problem:

When print screen is initiated, the RUMBA display screen keeps popping up windows displaying the message "RUMBA is searching for the first screen". When Print Now or Cancel are pressed, it displays the error message "Function key not allowed".

Resolution:

This problem occurs when the RUMBA application print feature unexpectedly recognizes the current screen as a trigger screen and tries to perform a multipage printout using one of its schemes. To prevent this behavior, you can disable this feature:

1. Connect to the host
2. Click on File->Print Area Setup
3. Under the Print Area Setup tab, check Disable Application Print

Subsequent print screen attempts should print only the current screen without errors.
