Hi RUMBA Fam,

 

Just want to ask if anyone from here experienced an issue when launching a Rumba Session using VBA thru Shell execution. Everytime the VBA launches the Rumba it does not connect automatically and is stuck on Host Machine error. Below is the sample code:

Shell ("RunDLL32.EXE shell32.dll,ShellExec_RunDLL C:\\Rumba\\MFrame\\A-WINNT.rsdm")

Hi bonoyquinto,
does the Session connect if you manually click on the connect button on the toolbar ?

Rumba can only connect to the Host automatically if the "Auto Connect" box is enabled.
Please check under connection -> Configure

Hi @ndre When I tried running this line: RunDLL32.EXE shell32.dll,ShellExec_RunDLL C:\\Rumba\\MFrame\\A-WINNT.rsdm through the Run (Windows R) it launches the Rumba and connects automatically but when I call that syntax using VBA, the Rumba doesnt conncect automatically. Also, the code runs to other users but I'm specifically having this problem with a single user only.

I have same issue. Try to toggle Rumba , and then connect. Works for me.
