Hi,My problem if the following one : I have an existing program in VB which use to log on Extra and perform several actions (write JCL, dowload file from MainFrame to the computer ...).

My company switch to Rumba and I want to keep this program on Rumba. I look on the Internet and find out some post on EHLAPI32 and WINHLLAPI.

Those DLL are on Extra repertory but not in my Rumba once.

How can I maintain my program on Rumba Session ?

How can I get those DLL (if this is the right solution) ?

Hi,
if your VB Program already use  EHLLAPI for communication then it should work with rumba.
Current rumba software supports both EHLLAPI and Windows HLLAPI.
To use EHLLAPI or WinHLLAPI:
Select a Session Short Name under Options-> API. This can be any letter of the alphabet (A-Z). When using HLLAPI to communicate with multiple Rumba display sessions, you must identify each session with a unique HLLAPI short name.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

I forget to tell we use Object X Web client (Pro Container) to connect on Rumba session.

I will try to use EHLLAPI anyway.

I am searching for short examples on Internet.
