Problem:
For some reason ViewNow version 7.2 installer fails on Windows XP when it reaches calculating the disk space. Why is this and how can it be resolved?
Resolution:
This problem is encountered on Windows XP operating systems if the Windows Installer is upgraded to version 4.5 or later. The workaround is to perform a silent installation from the command line with MSIEXEC. The following command can be used to install ViewNow 7.2 with Windows Installer version 4.5:
Msiexec /I idrclt7.msi LICENSEKEY=xxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxx /qb
Where xxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxx is the license key that was provided with the product
