Problem:
Is there Web-to-Host compatibility with 64-bit JRE?
Resolution:
Web-to-Host Java sessions should run fine under a 64-bit JVM implementation. However, most 64-bit Windows operating systems come with both 32-bit and 64-bit Internet Explorer browsers. There are different versions of the Java plug-in available for both types. An appropriate version of JRE is loaded depending on whether you are using 32-bit or 64-bit IE browser. As a result, if you launch your Web-to-Host JAVA session in a 32 bit IE you will need to use 32-bit JRE even though you also have 64-bit JRE installed on the computer. Web-to-Host pro clients do not use JRE and are only supported in the 32-bit IE browser on a 64-bit Windows operating system. Please note that Web-to-Host Server installer requires the 32-bit JRE on 64-bit platforms.
