Problem:

In Rumba, when trying to connect to an AS/400 host machine, the following error is displayed:

No such host found

Error code 11001

Host ‘hostname’: 449

Solution

1. Launch an AS/400 display

2. Click on the connection -> Configure option and make sure “TN5250” is selected under the “Installed Interfaces” option.

3. Click on the “TN5250” tab and check or enable the “Suppress Dialogs” option and press Ok button.

4. Attempt to reconnect and Rumba should connect to the host without the Windows socket error.
