While using VSCode ZMF Explorer users may get message: Inactive token expired - Click the Profile RegenerateSession Tokens icon - ZMFREST Source: ZMF Explorer Is it possible to change the token expiration time? How? Thanks.#ChangeManZMF#ZMFExplorer
Occasionally, VSCode fails to correctly load extensions. When you then attempt to click on a ZMF Explorer icon you may get a message for example. "Refresh Command not found" etc This may sometimes occur when VSCode has performed one of its regular monthly updates. When this occurs: Shutdown VSCode, Restart VSCode Click Help - Toggle Developer Tools Then select Console from the top line menu barAttempt to open and run the extension.Check the console for errors. Often that can provide a good indication of what actually went wrong.#HowTo-BestPractice#ChangeManZMF
It would be nice if you could have a package filter in the favorite without having to drill down to packages under an application.

Hi,The version of cURL in my z/OS system is: curl 7.52.1 (i370-ibm-openedition)curl-config --ca returns: /u/mvsbuild/py361z/python36/etc/ssl/cacert.pem But I can't find that directory. Instead I found cacert.pem is under /u/python/python36/etc/ssl. So I created that directory and copy cacert.pem there.I tried 3 different ways:1) When I issue the command without specifying --cacert and --capath, I got errorcurl: (60) SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate in certificate chain2) When I issue the command specifying --cacert and --capath, I got errorcurl: (77) error setting certificate verify locations:CAfile: cacert.pem CApath: /u/mvsbuild/py361z/python36/etc/ssl 3) When I copy the cacert.pem file to the current directory, it works.Questions:1. Is there something wrong with the build process that made the cacert.pem stored in a wrong location?2. After manually copied the cacert.pem to the desired location, why can't it be used, even specifying the location explicitly?3. Is it a

Hi, we're actually running ChangeMan ZMF 8.3.0 and we're planning ChangeMan activities for next year. I've seen that ChangeMan 8.3.2 should be out in 2026 Q1 so I was searching informations about this version. Is there already a list of fixes and enhancements planned for 8.3.2? I would like also to ask where is the link for the ChangeMan ZMF versions / EOS dates matrix. Thank you. ------------------------------Stefano AntoniazziRaiffeisen Information Service------------------------------

Hello ChangeMan ZMF Community, It has been a longer process than we anticipated, but we now have the Ideas (Enhancements) portal available. This is a different portal than what we had under Micro Focus and Open Text and as such the former Ideas needed to be migrated from the prior portal to new portal that Rocket Software uses. Unfortunately, many of userids attached to the Ideas were not migrated. When possible, the original author's userid were appended to the description. Also, because the Ideas portal is different from the ChangeMan ZMF Community Forum it will require a new registration and it's a different link: Rocket Software Customer Ideas Portal We have been able to add a link from the ChangeMan ZMF Community Forum page on the right-hand panel (Ideas and Enhancements), which will bring you to the new Rocket Ideas Portal for ChangeMan ZMF. Our apologies to all our customers and users, as this has been a long process. We thank you for your patience as we worked through the proce

Hello All I was wondering if it would be possible to add the requestorPhone to the panel CMNLIST0 as a criteria fieldThe reason is, via the global admin this field can be assigned another meaning (which we did, at our shop this has a value indicating the type of material in the package). As the field can be adjusted we were wondering if it would be possible to through the interface have this field available to narrow down a list of packages based on that field The XML service Package,Gen_prms,Search supports it so I hope the investment should not be that high ? :-) Thank you Best regards Johan------------------------------Johan JacobEuroclearBrussels BE------------------------------
Hello maybe someone can help, I have a changeman application that in the past has installed to a remote site but now the requirement is to only install on the same dev box that Changeman is running on. So i removed the remote site so nobody can add that site when creating a package and i added a local site with a dummy library defined so then it would only do the baseline process. However the 10 job fails(sortof there is no bad rc) with the following error message which causes the 11 job to fail. SYSIN: YON1000455 10 NOD=DUMMY PACKAGE NOT DISTRIBUTED AT ALL REMOTE SITES YON1000455 STATUS NOT CHANGED TO "DIS" YON1000455 SYSIN: YON1000455 05 NOD=PICM.CP000000.YON1.#000455K.X.DUMMY SYSIN: YON1000455 05 SUB=YON11155 has anybody encountered this ? when the package is created there is only one site in the package request. thanks. ------------------------------Steven NauHsbc Software Devel
We're testing GitZMF and it works in the right direction of adding "new protocols" to access mainframe sources. It's clear how to use it while developing from VSCode or similar. We would like also to use it when we've to orchestrate processes like source scanning, security scanning and so on. It would be great to use the git protocol instead of setting up FTP or custom scripts. At the moment of course we cannot use it because the "prerequisite" is creating a ChangeMan package on the mainframe and a gitZMF pull would work from the package. Can you think of developing something in the GitZMF for getting sources from the baseline maybe for a full application + type key? We know that there is a big gap between a non-mainframe project (where all the sources are "pulled" for working) and a mainframe project where we usually take a specific subset (the package) but still we would also need a way to "pull" the full application... Thank you ------------------------------Stefano AntoniazziBC

Hello Everyone! We found that in version 8.2 path 7, HLLX integration in the checkin, build, recompile, and relink functionalities does not communicate with XML in terms of consistency and variable content modification. When HLLX is called from the ISP or client pack panels, it returns an error message, but when called via XML, it does not return an error as expected. Could you please inform if there is an enhancement planned for this item?------------------------------Mari SekineBanco Bradesco S/ASão Paulo BR------------------------------

Hello all,On VSCODE/ ZMF Explorer, I'm trying to do the parametrization in order to be able to expand/see the INCLUDES and COPY's.For the one's that are on BASELINE I can see them because I've done the parametrization on the zapp.yaml file (the name do not change).
