Trying to run CONVERT.SQL but getting an error.  Not sure how to track this user down or change the owner.  Clearly that uid is not a windows guid.  The user id doesn't show up in LISTUSERS.  I'm an admin on the server but I'm not sure how that relates to a superuser in unidata.Thanks,Seb------------------------------Sebastian NahapetianRocket Forum Shared Account------------------------------

Everyone out there know about D3's SET-DATE-WINDOW utility? It's something you can add to your cold start procedure to change the 2-digit year pivot point from 30 to something else. Example if you ICONV a date like 8/1/31, you'll get an internal date in the year 1931, not 2031 as you might expect. I have this in my USER-COLDSTART:SET-DATE-WINDOW 60This tells my D3 system to assume that any two-digit years from 00 to 59 are 2000 to 2059, where 60 to 99 are 1960 to 1999. This is a LOT handier than handling it in your application.I'm posting this because there's a lot of useful stuff in D3 that I was unaware of until I became a Rocket employee and was actually forced to read the manual. Hi, all. I used to work for a Rocket UniData client who was able to restrict permissions on production in such a way that for designated production logins, it was not possible to write to disc. One could use the editor, but not file the record; no compiles or catalogs; no file creation; etc. Is there a documented way of setting up this feature? Monday marks the pick Julien calendar roll from the 10 to 20 thousands. We have dozens of SOAP web services in production that were built using Web Services Developer Tool v4.23.0 (2017).  We now need to build RESTful web services and find the equivalent tool is RESTful Web Services Developer v4.63.0 (2017).These both seem to have been abandoned by Rocket in favor of MVIS.  The  MVIS data sheet says it requires UV 11.3.3 and we are currently running UV 11.3.1.  As we are going into a busy time of year, we cannot consider a UV upgrade until early 2023 at best.  However, we need to create. test and publish REST services in the next few months. Does anyone have any advice?

Years ago, in a different forum, someone posted a proc/paragraph they called LSELECT that, as I recall, allowed you to take a select list of values for a specific attribute in a file and select all the records in that file that contained any of the values in the select list. It was very clever.The machine I installed it on is long since off-line. If anyone else has it, I would love to recreate it on the machine I am on now.BTW, i am using Unidata 8.1

We use the replication monitoring phantoms - MONITOR.REPLOG and MONITOR.REPSTATUS.  While we can start/stop/update them manually, we used to have a VB-based application to do so - provided to us by Rocket.  Unfortunately, we've lost that software.  If it's readily available for download on the Rocket site, we have not been able to find it there.Where can I find the VB software for controlling the replication monitoring phantoms?Thanks in advance!Brian Paige

Hi allJust your thoughts on how much memory should be allocated to a system with < 20 users? (NO Flash basic - Linux D3 (Ver 7.4))The users are complaining that the system is "slow" with 2.62144 TB. I have seen a bunch of changes through the years on additional functionality on this tool. Is there a comprehensive list of what this tool currently can do? Hi,I've installed Universe for Windows community edition.   I want to do a couple of things - install the Developer tools IDE and/or VS Code to edit BASIC programs, and, also test python code executing in Universe to utilise external python modules  and libraries.I can get to the XDEMO account at the BASIC MV shell, and LIST PRODUCTS data.I have tried and failed to connect the Basic Developer Toolkit. I cannot find what username/password to use. When connecting to my instance, what is the default username/password combination or should I set an account up and if so how ?  I think this will also help me connect up VSCode.As a follow up question, I have  python module which I want to include in a python program which I execute in Universe.  Is there specific process I need to run in order to include this module for use ?  I tried to run pip install <my module.whl> but this did not seem t import my module.Thanks - Steve------------
