Problem:

Micro Focus runtime licensing uses a number of segments of shared memory to monitor and control deployment licensing.  There are times when a program or operating system misbehaves and the shared memory becomes corrupted.

Resolution:

Attached to this article are two versions (32 and 64 bit) of shared memory reset tool. The MFSharedMemoryReset tool allows the systems administrator to reset the shared memory used by Micro Focus licensing without the need to reboot a machine.

This should resolve the problem.

I tried to run the 64 bit.  I also setup the COBDIR, PATH, LIB, etc.  After enter the security code and accepted, I have

Load error : file 'SharedMemoryDelete.sh'

error code: 253, pc=0, call=1, seg=0

253     Cannot load file - unsupported format

Any idea?  We are running Version 5.1 wp15 on Linux 7.
