Problem:

Can .GNT's built in NetExpress 4.0 (or earlier) be run in the Server for COBOL 5.0 runtime environment?

Resolution:

No.  Do not attempt to run .GNTs from NetExpress 4.0 (or earlier) with Server for COBOL 5.0 runtime.  They will have to be recompiled.

Always be certain that the development and runtime environments are at the same version/release levels (i.e., NetEx 4.0, with Server 4.0 runtime).
