Problem:

Attempting to access the Server Express Development License System results in the error:

Cannot find where LMF license directory is located

Solution:

The Micro Focus Product information listing in the user’s mfpoll showed that the Server Express product was not installed on the machine in question. Rather, Server for COBOL was installed. Installing Server Express (along with the license management system) resolved this problem.
