In order to debug using cbl_debugbreak the IDE needs access to both the .idy file and the COBOL source file that was used in compilation.

The .idy file will be searched for in the current folder and then in the locations specified in the COBIDY environment variable.

The IDY contains the hard coded path name of where the source file can be located.

Is your source file still in the same location as it was when it was compiled?

For a test please place the .idy file and .cbl source file in the same folder as the executable that does the call "cbl_debugbreak". Does it display the source file correctly?

What NX 5.1 wrappack level are you on?

Look in Control Panel-->Programs and Features at the NX install.

It ist not a part of the Compiler Version it must be a regestry or system problem...

The test with the source and son on in one and the same folder is not working the result is the same that the source is not loding...

Is debugging working at all?

If you start from a NX command prompt like:

  MFNETX /DEBUG:ProgramName.EXE

does it start debugging and show you the source?

The Debuger is running if I start the Debugging over the GUI or via Command prompt
