Hi,i am currently using server express 5.0 on sun solaris. developing a C application which getting request from an infinite loop TCP interface and accessing a legacy Cobol library accordingly.
I have a question on necessity of cobcancel. after calling cobol library do i have to call cobcancel? When cobcancel is called, process CPU utilization gets to on a non-root user with default process priorities whereas when cobcancel is not called, CPU utilization gets up to at most which is sufficient for the time being?
When cobcancel is not called, does that produce memory leak or any other side-effects or run-time errors on application?
