I have copied an old screen (via copy and paste) in NetExpress to make a new similar one, but how do I reset the version and block numbers?  I can view them, but can't remember how to change them.

Are you referring to a Dialog System screenset here?

The easiest way to make copies of a screenset is by using the export command and then modify the textfile *.imp file that is generated and then import it into a new screenset.

The import and export commands can be found on the Dialog System File menu.

When you create a new screenset it will automatically set the data block version to 1 and then it will be incremented each time you generate a new copyfile after making changes to the data block.

Or are you referring to a different version and block number here?

Thanks.

Hi Chris,

Sorry, yes, still working on the Dialog System.

Unfortunately, I didn't create my screen via export and import, and I have added a lot to it - so I really don't want to recreate it.  As I said, I created it via copy and paste so it has the original version and block number from the copied screen.  I want to reset them to 1.  I am pretty sure I did this in the past, but I can't remember how I did so.  Thanks.
