Hi
I am using FILESHARE on Enterprise server studio 6.0. Is there any option where i can specify that Read the data in ASCII or EBCDIC mode.
Even though i know Fileshare only redirect to file. My requirement is data is in ascii mode in file and i need to Convert into EBCDIC mode as program is is expecting data in EBCDIC mode.

I dont want to this conversion process in Program.I want this conversion while reading the file and that outside program

Thanks in advance

Sorry but there is no option to allow a file to be in one character set while the program runs in another mode.
There is no on-the-fly conversion from ASCII to EBCDIC for example.

The programmer needs to ensure that any data files that are read are in the character set that matches the mode of the program.
