The external CICS interface (EXCI for short) allows programs running in batch, to execute a program that exists in an CICS environment

Does Net Express support EXCI?

and how do we implement this, maybe you have Documentation and sample programs/JCL/directives that could guide me in using EXCI. Thanks!

I'll consider your response as a great help :)

Net Express supports this but you should actually be looking at the Studio Enterprise Edition 6.0 and Server Enterprise Edition 6.0 products for doing any type of mainframe CICS type development.

These programs would run under Enterprise Server.

For SEE 6.0 documentation look here:

and then Navigate to Server Enterprise Edition 6.0 SP2 Websync 1 for Windows-->Mainframe Support for Deployed applications-->MSS Configuration and Administration-->CICS Support-->Modernizing CICS applications

If you have Net Express 5.1, look in the Help Under Micro Focus Server-->Mainframe Support-->Mainframe Transaction Option...-->CICS Support-->Legacy Extension with MTO

Is this what you are looking for?
