Has anyone be able to create a gnt using the 'gnt' compiler directive in the cobol.dir and compiling user cobol statement under NetExpress 5.1? I added 'gnt' to the coboo.dir file and the system still created an int. The NetExpress 5.1 books indicated that if you add the 'gnt' compiler directive, it will create a gnt and not a int (default).

I am working directly with dhelie through a support incident for this issue.
It is not a problem with adding the gnt() directive to cobol.dir but it was an issue with the cobol.dir file not being picked up correctly when starting the cobol command from within a script.
