Problem:

When trying to change a value in animate mode with the examine monitor, the window is completely greyed out, and value(s) cannot be changed.

Resolution:

The file VALUEEDITNX.OCX was on the server machine, but had not been copied over to the client  machines.

You can copy this file from the server to the client, and register this file with the REGSVR32.
