Problem:

when opening  a file in the data file editor - it is not loading the structure file that was created

Resolution:

if you open a file and the editor does not use the structure file automatically

you can do File (form top tool bar) - datatools - load record layout

if the str is in the same directory as the file with the same name - it will automatically use the str in the editor
